A Musical Evening Under the Stars – Magia di Vivaldi

On Sunday, 6 September 2026, the Madlena Palace of Arts celebrated its fourth anniversary in a manner worthy of its prestige: with the concert “Magia di Vivaldi” in the palace’s magnificent garden and the opening of Ivana Živić’s painting exhibition “Reflections” (”Odsjaji”).

Under a starry sky, before nearly 700 guests, time truly stood still. The Baroque chamber orchestra “Camerata di Musica”, under the artistic direction of violinist Valentina Gajić-Tirmenstein, M.A., who also appeared as soloist, performed a selection of Antonio Vivaldi’s finest works, from virtuoso violin concertos to lavish pieces for several soloists. The audience gave the orchestra a standing ovation. Many distinguished guests from public life were among those present, further underlining the significance of the anniversary. The atmosphere was magical: music, setting and a sense of togetherness turned the evening into an unforgettable experience.

After the concert, the audience entered the world of visual art through Ivana Živić’s exhibition “Reflections”. Her paintings draw on costumed figures, opulent architectural settings and flowing elements of water. They create scenes of weightless, ethereal space in which the boundaries between the material and the spiritual dissolve. Her new series, inspired by the oriental landscapes of North Africa, brought an authentic flavour and allure that further enriched the festive evening.

A cocktail reception accompanied the exhibition. It gave visitors a chance to relax and share their impressions in a pleasant atmosphere, while Ivana Živić’s works offered an intimate encounter with visual art.

The fourth anniversary of the Madlena Palace of Arts was more than a celebration.
