Valentina Gajić-Tirmenstein

Valentina Gajić-Tirmenstein, a Serbian violinist of German origin, studied at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of Professor Pavel Vernjikov. During her studies, she attended intensive and detailed masterclasses with Professor Abram Shtern at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev. Additionally, she completed masterclasses with Professor Marina Yashvili and Professor Zinaida Gilles, again at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, but in Moscow. She graduated in the class of Professor Maja Jokanović in Belgrade, after which she went to Kiev for an internship before her master's exam under the guidance of Professor Abram Sthern. She completed her master's studies in the class of Professor Maja Jokanović at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.

As a professional musician with 40 years of experience, she has given a large number of concerts both in the country and abroad. She is the founder, conductor, and soloist of the Baroque Chamber Orchestra "Camerata di Musica" and the founder of the piano trio "Amorosso". Both ensembles have had a series of highly acclaimed concerts in the country and abroad.

In the 1990s, she went to Greece, performing throughout the country and giving a remarkable 264 concerts in just one year. In addition, she was hosting a TV-show related to culture and music on Greek's national TV-channel ERT 3.

Her restless artistic spirit led her to jazz music as a violinist and singer. Valentina's concerts with the jazz orchestra of Radio Television Belgrade have also been recorded as live performances on CD. Her jazz quartet has been regularly performing on the stages of many jazz clubs in Serbia and Europe for 25 years.

In addition, Valentina has recorded three albums of Klezmer music for B92, a popular radio and television station in belgrade, Serbia.

In 2010, upon the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, she toured Dubai, where she held 46 concerts.

As a special gesture, the opera house "Madlenijanum" in Zemun granted Valentina a unique honor, promoting her as the sole instrumental soloist of their opera house.

Today, she lives and works in Germany, where she successfully performs and works with violin students.
